Help on using LINN K-400 cables please.... (1 Viewer)

I have some new, well, used Linn Keiliedhs(?) and the pair came with the Linn K-400 bi wire cable. I have an amp that does not have 5-way binding post. the cables have banana plugs and is think, can I take off the plugs and use bare wire? I cannot get any sound when I tried this. Any special way these have to be wired, bewired...?

sounds like a bad connection either on your part or something with the wire. take a VOM and see if you've got continuity.
