Stop me from going crazy. Did New Jersey participate in the Powerball lottery for about a year? I believe it was either 2001 or 2002. TheONLY time I ever bought tickets was for Powerball. It was all over the news at the time about the high winnings. I remember my girlfriends father at the time wanted me to buy tickets, since he lived in PA.

Then I heard NJ dropped Powerball (and at the same time, PA picked it up) in favor of Mega Millions. I checked for old news articles... nothing. Even NJ's lottery site goes back to '99 with Mega Millions. I swear I bought Powerball... am I going crazy? My friend thinks so (we have a $50 wager going).

    Help me!

    Mike D.

I would probally be willing to bet 50.00 that NJ had Power Ball because that was where the 7 or so winners of that ultra high jackpot lived (2 or 3 years ago)........ Im thinking so.
