Can someone familiar with NXG Technologies'
NX-402 Banana Plugs answer the following for me?

1- Are these the Twist-Lock type (Reusable)?
2- They came in various colors (Red/Black/Clear)
    Does the color signify anything?
3- The Plugs in plastic holders. Are fixed
in place or can they be separated? If they
cannot be separated, can the spacing between
the plugs be problem or is the spacing an
    industry standard, or something?!
4- If I have to buy separate plugs, would that be
    the NXG-401s?
5- I am using 16 Gauge wire. I assume this is
    not an issue?!

Sorry for all the questions, but trying to find this
    information has been difficult.

    Thanks!
    Valerie

I have these plugs, so i can help you out...
    1.) Yes
2.) No, the color does not signify anything
3.) The plugs are in a molded plastic holder. They can not be separated without cutting the plastic in half. Spacing of binding posts is pretty much standard on speakers, however most receivers have the binding posts too far apart to use dual plugs. Speakers=ok, receivers=not ok.
4.) Separate plugs are the NX-401
5.) These plugs will hold up to 12 gauge wire. Smaller wire (16 and 18 gauge) can slip out. The best fix for this is to cover the tips of the wire with solder. Don't solder the wire to the plugs, just cover the tips of the wire with solder to increase it's diameter so it doesn't slip out. It also keeps the pressure of the screw down part of the plugs from separating the strands of the wire.
In case you're wondering, the best place to find these plugs cheap is on www.shoppingmatrix.tv
    Hope this helps.
