Help! Need to ID This Doomsday Movie (1 Viewer)

A friend of mine is trying to ID a movie about the end of the world. All we know about it is that it's:

1. Likely made within the last 15 years.

2. The main character is a radio DJ

3. It's probably an American movie

4. It's probably an independent film.

I don't know much about it but he saw it on IMDB one day and it looked really interesting but didn't write it down. Any help is appreciated!

Could it be Night of the Comet? There's a big scene where the two main characters pretend to be DJ's.
