We need to get a couple 36"+ monitors or TVs. I was getting pricing for renting them and it was $1200+/wk. I'd rather buy them for the same price than pay $4500 for the 2 weeks use.

Anyone have any ideas of brands and sources? I'm striking out on my usual places of purchase.

What we need is 1024x768, vga input.

    TIA,

    Rob Lloyd

I'm not sure about large professional computer monitors but I do know that Sampo and Princeton Graphics both make 27", 32", 34" and I believe 36" HDTV/Monitors. I know the Sampo 34" 34WHD5 will do 1024x768 and it can be had for under 2K right now. You might want to check out Ubid and Buy.com for current prices. After your finished using it as a monitor, you would have a wonderful HDTV to take home with you.

Thanks. I already checked out buy.com unfortunatly we need them for Tuesday and they are out of stock.

Seems hard to find these items. Guess they aren't big sellers.

    Rob,

Have you considered a small digital projector? THe LT-150 from NEC 1is 1024x768 native, very bright, especially if only 36 inch wide!
