Help! Motion Sensing Audio Playback (1 Viewer)

I want to set up a motion sensor so that when someone walks down my steps, it plays a music clip (30 - 60 seconds), and then resets itself to play the next time someone walks down.

Any ideas how to go about this?

What about using an x10 motion sensor (www.x10.com) to activate some type sound device like a tape recorder or a digital voice recorder or something?
