I've killed my laptop HDD and I'm trying to get things back to where they were.

Anyway.. long story short.. I had a DOS-based program that would unpack a ".BIN" file to a floppy. It was freeware, small, and easy... BUT I CAN'T REMEMBER THE NAME OF IT!?!?

It was great for when I tried to make a bootable CD-RW and I'd need to make a change... I could just unpack the BOOTIMG.BIN to a floppy, make my changes and re-burn a new bootable disk.

Any ideas... It's a tiny ".exe".. I can't find it anywhere.

Thanks, www.bootdisk.com is one of my go to sites... and a great resource. But, I've found the file I'm looking for in the backwaters of the internet:

FDIMAGE.EXE

I had to use a NTFS Reader to read what was left of my HDD to find it. I don't know why I didn't think of that before.

Thanks again.
