I have been kinda playing catch up with all the stuff going on with HD DVD players. If I understand correctly the connection is going to be either DVI or HDMI??

I have a TV that accepts DVI inputs. Are there adapters or problems with hooking up a HDMI player into a DVI input on the TV. Thankss for helping out

HDMI-to-DVI convertors are available, which will allow you to send the video [but not the audio] from a HDMI source to a DVI display. Unfortunately, unless your display supports the HDCP data-control protocol, you will be locked out from viewing the picture.

Thanks for the info. I am not sure if my DVI input supports HDCP. I have a Sony KV-34HS510

Turns out that it is HDCP compliant, so I should be good to go I hope
