Help me figure out which film I'm thinking of. (1 Viewer)

I can't figure out which film this comes from. I remember the moment vividly, but I can't remember which actors are involved. I For some reason I'm thinking of John Cusack, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't say it. Any help would greatly ease my minor frustration.

The line sounds familiar, but I can almost swear it was spoken by Anthony Hopkins.

I'm sure it wasn't Hopkins. It was definitely in a comedy-ish context. This is really bugging me now. I can hear the line, but I can't place the voice.

Oh, nevermind... the line I was thinking of was "I misled you. Or you made the wrong assumption."
I don't know why I got the two lines confused.
