I just did the deed and purchased an SVS PB12 Ultra. It will be replacing a PS1000 v3(Paradigm sub). While I am excited, I really hope I can see...errr hear/feel a huge difference.

Of course now comes the hardest part....waiting for it

SVS subs deserve pride in ownership. I would expect a significant improvement.

I replaced my Paradigm PDR-10 with my first SVS, a 25-31 PCi, about three years ago. Now I'll never say a bad word about Paradigm speakers cause I think they are pretty damn good for the money. But as for their subwoofers? They were exposed to me for what they are on that day....the SVS annhililated it. Since that time I haven't thought twice about where I'd be buying any future subwoofers from.
