As the subject suggests, this summer I am planning on building a 5.1 system for my apartment that I will be living in next semester.
I have been looking at many kits and DIY projects and believe that I'm looking for some quality floorstanding MTM mains, and simple bookshelve like surrounds.
I've have checked out the Adire vented 281 kits, and some Stryke audio kits, but I'd like some input as to what you guys think would be a good solution for me. I'll being using the system for about 50/50 music and movies and I am on a restricted budget. Probably the costs of the Adire kits are as high as I'd like to go.
I have a woodshop and building experience, so that is not asn issue.
