I just finished a painting for a teacher. On the upper left, I like to paint a few words something to the effect of:

To a wonderful teacher. I've always remember how your guidance made the way easier, your enthusiasm made the work fun and how most of all, how your encouragement spurred me on.

That's too long and I don't like. It needs to be about 15 words or less since I'm painting the words on it and not writing. The content is less important since we always thank teachers for the same reasons anyway. So help....

    Luc,

Just paraphrasing your own lines (only shorter):

"To a wonderful teacher. You guided me, encouraged me, and made me discover the joy of it all.."

You could always paraphrase the saying on those insparational pictures.

"A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove...But the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child."

    Maybe

"A hundred years from now the world may be different because I/you was/were important in the life of a child."

My wife is a teacher and she likes that saying a lot.
