Hi all,

As I was watching Star Wars SE on LD, my Pioneer CLD-606 just stopped. My problem now is it doesn't play or open the tray so I can take out my Star Wars LD. When trying to open the tray it is giving a "E0" error message. Anyone have any ideas what I should do? I would like to get it fixed, but at a minumim just take out my LD. If anyone on the forum lives in the Denver, Colorado area and no where I can bring it for service, I would appreciate it if they can point me to someone.

Thanks in advance.

Contact Pioneer. They should be able to direct you to the nearest authorized service center. The problem will be finding a technician who's been trained on LD players; you need someone who's been in the business for more than a few years.
There's a service locator link at Pioneer's site.

You may try to unplug the unit for a few minuutes and plug it back in. This may allow you to get the disc back out.
