Any Biologist/Pathologists out there :D

This skull was found in a creek bottom in TX, the dimensions are approx 5"x 5". Someone suggested that its a pot bellied pig skull, but i find that highly unlikely unless somone discarded a piglet.

The skull looks a bit deformed, either naturally or mechanically.
Any ideas?
For reference:

It's hard to tell from those angles. Would you be able to take a few more from different angles?

Looks like a giant rodent, maybe a Nutria? They're pretty common in Louisiana so Texas isn't much of a stretch.

You've seen my skulls! You've looked in the furnace!

It belonged to a neighbor of yours.. who went by the name of Napp. I offered to buy their house... but, you know how old people grow so attached to things.
