    Hello,

I need your help and I´m a total newbie in this area:

    The situation is the following.

I have the PC and the projector in different rooms but contiguous.

Through a hole I manage to pass the necessary cables to the connections.

    The problem is this:

    1)

How can I command/control at the distance the computer, particularly in gaming situations?

    2)

Are there any Gamepads with cables of three meters or should I buy a normal one and do some alteration putting a longer cable ?

    3)

    What about wireless controllers?

Do they work fine with a wall between ???

    Thanks in advance

    Edgler

I created two USB to RJ-45 adapters using a pair of female RJ-45 boxes and a couple of three foot USB extension cables. I then connected a forty foot long network cable between the two, threw in a USB keyboard and mouse to the package and I was done!

No weird drivers, no IR delays, no batteries needed! [IMG]

Bluetooth devices can supposedly work up to 32 feet. A Logitech MX900 + keyboard is an option. I like the USB extension idea, it's what I did but with a regular USB cable to a hub.
