Help! how can I link my database to a Java interface

    I have a database in Oracle8. and I want to link it to my java frontend interface. I have performed something semilar using Access and visual basic and I want to know are the principles the same if not whats the difference?

    Any help at all would be great even a pointer towards a relavant book.

    Just use JDBC there should be jdbc connectors for all of the DBs you listed. I haven't done anything like that in a long time so check java.sun.com for info/tutorials.
