I need to setup my tv so that one person can use headphones and the rest in the room can also listen via the tv speakers. The headphone jack cuts out the tv speakers, same with the RCA audio output ports on the back of the tv.

Is there any solution to this problem?

Welcome to Home Theater Forum, Dan. I moved your thread from A/V Sources to here, which is where it is best to ask this question. Best of luck. JB

Not likely. Your best bet is to connect the TV to an audio receiver (assuming it has RCA output jacks) and plug the headphones into that.
