I am trying to find a hd widescreen tv that is 20" or less in deep. I have seen the following:

Hitachi 43fwx20b - I really like this set but won't buy it because of lack of dvi. (is a new model coming out that will have dvi?)

Panasonic pt45lc12 and pt40lc12 - my impression is negative on these because the bulb has to be replaced every few hundred hours and the black levels aren't great.

Sony kf50xbr800 - I really like this set but can't afford it.

And I can't afford plasmas.

Basically I'm looking for an hd widescreen set that is 43" or more, has a max depth of 20", has dvi, and is around $2000 or less. Is anything coming out like that?

Regarding the Panasonic PT45LC12 and the PT40LC12: the bulb has to be replaced every few THOUSAND hours not every few HUNDRED hours as you suggested. At the recommended rate a bulb should last most viewers 2 years maybe more.
