Help Choose New Display (1 Viewer)

I'm looking for a display for my new HT room I'm building. I'm looking in the 50" range, a RP LCD, budget of $3,000. Anyone recommend a good display they have experienced or are getting and why?

RP LCD?? I seem to only like the latest Sony generations on these. The rest have some obvious issues to my eyes.

I was pretty floored the first time I got to see one of the newest Sony offerings.....

Thanks for the reply John, I see the question marks behing RP LCD, for the money or size can you recommend a better choice that a RP LCD? I guess I wouldn't be dead-set on a RP LCD but not real familiar with DLP, don't they have burn-in issues, calibrating to do? Obviously I can't afford a plasma, and the direct-view's aren't large enough for my needs.
