Help bulid my HT system (1 Viewer)

If you had around $1000, what would you buy for receiver/dvd/speakers.
My old system was an HTIB and this time I want to put my own together.
It is going into an average size living room.

Your thoughts ar appreciated.

If you already have a HTIb and you have $1000 to spend look at projectors. There are good projectors for under $1000. So use your existing sound system and upgrade later but put a really big picture with it and WOW!!
