I would like to build a small concession bar stand in my theater. I don't have a lot of space. Does anyone have any suggestions, pictures or websites that might help?

Thanks!!

Todd,

I built a simple "bar" by using two 24" deep x 36" wide kitchen base cabinets and some overhead wall units available at any kitchen/cabinet store or even Home Depot. My bar is 6' long and allows plenty of storage below for games or junk and glasses, plates, etc above. I did not have room or need a walk-behind bar so this works out fine as a place to set chips or drinks. I do not have functioning wet sink, but I have seen stainless steel basins recessed flush in the top to hold ice and cans. One display at the cabinet store was quite elaborate using wine racks and trim options, so you might start there. Good luck! You might get more response in "Building a HT" section.
