Help...Boston now Polk (1 Viewer)

Went to the tweeter store yesterday to buy Boston Speakers, vri580 in the wall. Tweeter said they are phasing Boston out and do not stock anymore. Suggested I go to the Polk lc65i. They sounded good. However I could not test side by side.

Is this a fair trade off? Or should I look for Boston?

Whats the take out in the real world.

I like BA speakers better personally.


Speakers are so subjective to listener preference though. You may find the Polks better.

What AVR?

I'd pair the BA with a Yamaha, and pair the Polks with a Pioneer 1014/1015.....

If they're phasing out the BA in-wall speakers, see if you can buy some demos from them.
