My sub recently died on me. I'm planning to take a look at a B&W ASW1000 .

In reading all I could about this sub, all the reviews pointed out that this seemed to be a fine sub, but very "picky" regarding it's placement, and tuning.

Is this really a big issue with this subwoofer that I should be concerned about?

Any body have any knowledge of this sub?

Your help regarding this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I owned this a while back. I thought it was good but not great. Depending on price you could do better. Thanks...andy

    Hi Brent,

Typically the room will be a much bigger factor in "placement issues" with the subwoofer(not the actual subwoofer). So if you have the ability to experiment with various placement options...the bw 1000 should work fine in that regard.
