I'm not really sure where to post this, so I guess I'll drop it here.
The last few times I've listened to a DTS track on my Toshiba SD5700 DVD Player and my NAD T760 Receiver I've noticed very brief audio drop-outs at each chapter stop. When I switch over to Dolby 5.1 track it doesn't happen. Only with DTS tracks it seems. Otherwise the DTS tracks sound as good as they always have. Just at the chapter stops. It's very frustrating. Any suggestions? Do you figure it has something to do with the NAD T760's DTS decoder, or do you think it's a DVD player related problem? Again, this has only been recently. I've had this Receiver/DVD Player combination for quite some time, have listened to numerous DTS tracks and never experienced a problem. Actually, come to think of it, I seem to remember brief audio drop-outs at chapter stops while watching Equilibrium the other day. This DVD only has a Dolby 5.1 track. Oh man!

This is almost certainly a problem with your DVD player.

Thanks Jack! I'm starting to think that you're right. I just hope that the place I bought this dud from will let me return it.
