Okay, I'm in the final stages of completing my computer building project. I want to use a GeForce 3 Vid Card, with either a 22" NEC MultiSync FE 1250+, or the 19" NEC MultiSync FE 950+. Both are pretty much identical, except for the sizes and the following specs:

22":

640 x 480 @ 50 to 160 hz

800 x 600 @ 50 to 160 hz

1024 x 768 @ 50 to 132 hz

1280 x 1024 @ 50 to 101 hz

1600 x 1200 @ 50 to 87 hz

1800 x 1350 @ 50 to 77 hz

1920 x 1440 @ 50 to 73 hz

19":

640 x 480 @ 55 to 160 hz

800 x 600 @ 55 to 146 hz

832 x 624 @ 55 to 141 hz

1024 x 768 @ 55 to 116 hz

1152 x 870 @ 55 to 103 hz

1280 x 1024 @ 55 to 89 hz

1600 x 1200 @ 55 to 76 hz

1792 x 1344 @ 55 to 68 hz

Now, I don't plan to watch DVD's on my computer, and I'll barely be playing games. I'll mainly be doing Graphics on this computer. So what monitor would suit me best? The 22" sounds really sweet, but it's about $250 more than the 19". Any benifits the 22 has over the 19? I would really appreciate any help I can get! Thanks!

If the dot pitch is the same or comparable, and you can afford the extra $250, I'd go for the 22" monitor to reduce the strain on your eyes. You're getting roughly 33% more viewable area by going from a 19" monitor to the 22" monitor.

Drool!!! I would go with that, without hesitation, if I could afford it! And I would use that insanely high resolution (assuming the video card supports it)
Make sure your desk is large enough and strong enough to hold the monitor.
If money were no object, I'd get two of the 22" monitors, and use the dual-monitor support on the newer GeForce 3 cards. :D

Multi-monitor is by far the best option if your video card supports it.

Two 19" are a beautiful sight if you've got enough real-estate on your desk.

And two good 19" cost less than that single 22".
