Hello new again (1 Viewer)

I just wanted to say hello. I am new to the forum. One of the reasons that I joined was to read feedback on certain topics.


For me, I am looking to buy a subwoofer to go with my jut purchased HT system. I have:


2-Energy Connoisseur CF-30 towers

2-Energy Connoisseur CB-10 Bookshelfs

1-Energy Connoisseur CC-5 Center Channel

1 Pioneer Elite VSX-45 Receiver


I was looking at several options for my sub. So any advice would help me out. These are the subs I am looking at:


SVS PB 1000

SVS PB 2000

HSU VTF-2 MK4

HSU VTF-3 MK5

Power Sound Audio 15V, 15S.


or any other suggestions.


I have a one bedroom apartment. 772sf. The listening area is about 21.1 x 12.1 Ft. Wood laminate floors. I also am on the top floor. My budget is $500.00- 800.00.


So any help would be greatly appreciated

Welcome Eric. I heartily recommend both Hsu and SVS subs, have one of each (VTF-15 not on your list)
