So Ron, does this mean from now on that you will increase your pestering of Sony for a BRD issue of Lawrence of Arabia?

(I guess we can get Frezon in on this pestering now too.)

My standing position to Sony is until they cough up a BRD LOA, I ain't buying their player.

Dennis,

I'll be at Sony in less than 2 weeks.

I'll pass your wishes along.

Ron:

I think they're keenly aware of (nearly) everyone's interest in LOA.

Would you mind inquiring why Bad Boys II is seemingly to Sony what Shawshank has been to Warner: a title they have touted for high def release in marketing materials for a not insignificant amount of time, yet has not streeted?

Well Ron, you know what they say: "a BRD in the hand is worth two in the bush." Of course if Sony wants to release LOA on HD-DVD, that's OK by me.

Paul,

Having just watched Hot Fuzz last night, your reference
to Bad Boys II is putting a smile on my face.

I'll ask about the title.

PS.. Ron can you ask about sweet hearts dance (don johnson) on bluray? they are showing the HIDEF lately on universalHD and the standard dvd is full screen only.

Congrats Ron. :)

I take it you like the audio effects with the menu navigation. Personally I can't stand it as most of the ones I've experienced are incredibly annoying. I've seen a few BD titles that allow you to turn the sound on and off (e.g. Surf's Up)

Congrats Ron,
Here is a title that you may like for your Blu-ray Player....Chris Botti Live with Orchestra and Special Guests it is the ONLY Blu-ray that is PCM 5.1 Surround 96kHz/24-bit/13.8mbps...I bought it a while back and it sound great...(if you like Chris Botti)
I could not wait for the panny ...so I bought the Sony S300....and I really like that player.

Enjoy
