I got a 32" CRT TV, and this morning I was wondering why do we put our TV with the center at eyeballs level, but projector screen at higher level? So I've decided to try it! I elevated my TV, 8" higher wich is now 10" higher than my eyeballs level when I sit on my couch. On great benefit of this, is that I was able to place my center channel speaker under the TV insted of above(I still not sure about this one ether.. is tweeter at 8" bellow ear level better than 24 above?) I must said that after watching half of LOTR I am quite please with the fact that now when I confortably sit on my couch(wich put my header in a backward position looking a bit above) the natural line of my eyeballs point directly at the center of the screen. quite like in theater? of course I am waiting for my girlfriend to get back from work to see if she can accept it(the WAF might be the key here) So I am curious to ear if any of you actually tryed this set up? and do you like it? are you still using it?
