All of my main speakers are B&W. They were purchased after extensive in-home listening of a variety of speaker brands, primarily Energy, Paradigm, KEF and Infinity (I have owned all of these brands over the years bar Paradigm). I found the B&Ws to offer the best overall package and the sound I was most comfortable with.
Others may have chosen one of the other brands; as said above speakers are matter of personal preference. If you preferred and bought another brand then good for you, but that doesn't negate the consistently high quality of B&W's line.
