When I went to Canada I don't remember seeing any grossly overweight people, so for North America you guys may edge out our healthiest cities.

Well I would think that Vancouver is the healthiest city in Canada.

I saw only 1 obese person there, and didn't see many fastfood chains at all.

The city is just so beautiful and provides alot to do outdoors that it seems like it's just conducive to a healthy lifestyle.

What!?!? Man, I gotta go eat more bratwurst and beer. Milwaukee shouldn't be anywhere near that list!

The midwest kinda sucks big old rotten grapes. At least where I am at.

I know because I live there. Not for long hopefully. There is absolutely nothing worthwhile to do that suits my interests here.

Yes, I know there are nice parts in the midwest. Unfortunately, I am just not at them.

I am into healthy living, water sports, beautiful scenery, photography (which equals neat things to take pictures of), sex, friendly atmosphere, etc.

The only thing anyone wants to do around here is go to bars and fast food restaurants. Two things that do not suit my interests at all.

I am just not interested in a 300 lb alcoholic that smells of big mac. Sex just isn't that important to me if it comes to that.

It's a list of the 50 largest metro areas in the U.S., not the 50 healthiest metro areas. Columbus is on that list too, and it's #6 on this list: The Unhealthiest Cities in America

I gotta move out of Ohio. [IMG]

Extra fresh unless you happen to be within 25 miles of a 20,000+/head hog farm. Thats about the time you start sucking on a diesel trucks smoke-stack until you get far enough away.

As for Milwaukee, all them harley's keep people from getting kidney stones [IMG]

Interesting. I would have thought Seattle would be number one. The air is much cleaner there than here in the Bay Area.

Yes and San Francisco was #3 which is pretty ironic considering a couple of weeks back at the Haight Street Fair the one thing that sold out the fastest was the "Fried Twinkies".
Plenty of ToFu left but not a Twinkie in sight

The cost of living in the Bay Area is why we are so healthly; bay area folks cant afford to eat!! [IMG]

San Jose was so darn healthy, I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Hehe, I'll take Denver or Monterey any day of the week over SJ.
