Heads Up Canadians Re: Shawshank DELUXE Edition (1 Viewer)

Hi guys!

Just letting you know that Warner has cancelled The Shawshank Redemption DELUXE EDITION (the one with the CD soundtrack and book) in Canada.

Unfortunately, Warner Bros. does not have the "rights" to the book in Canada. However, the regular "Two-Disc Special Edition" will still be available.

The book and soundtrack are available to buy on their own in Canada for those of you who are interested. Amazon.ca has listings for them both.

It now seems that the Deluxe Edition of Shawshank is also canceled in the US, as not one on-line store has it in-stock anymore.

Or is this just a production shortage and therefor temporary?

While I'm also pissed off about this it is not the norm. Just an internet click away from a US store. Regardless, this is a ridiculous situation.
