When I was at Disney World (or land, whatever) there was a room where you put on headphones and closed your eyes and what you heard had a distinct front and back to it.
Are there any headphones that would give you the 5.1 surround experience?
The wife goes to bed at 10pm and I usually stay up till midnight, it would be cool to watch a movie with headphones that would be more than just stereo. Anybody got any ideas?

    Thanks,
    davidk

Sony makes a 5.1 DD headphone. Very expensive, has it's own decoder. A few DVD's have a special track called DD HEADPHONE (Pearl Harbor is one). This is a very effective 5.1 simulator that uses regular headphones. It only works with the special track, though I heard Dolby has plans for a translator (DD to DD HEADPHONE). Don't know what the status is.

The Denon AVR-5803 has a DH decoder on board.
