I'm going to a local shop today with wdiescreen hDTv sets.

I don't have component cables for any console so I won't be going progressive scan, at least I can see how it looks as the game converted to 480p.

    What game/console should I bring?
I only have halo and agent under fire for xbox (halo is 480p, dont think either have a 16x9 mode).

For gamecube I have some 16x9 games (monkeyball2) and progressive scan, but agai I can't enable it cuz I only have svideo cables. Should I try mario and monkeyball2?

Well, I would demo Rogue Leader and Resident Evil on GC. If wanting to REALLY test the TV try XBOX in progressive mode. Dead or Alive 3 is a sight to behold, as is Halo and NFL 2K3

I would recommend playing some of the FMVs from FFX. They're beautiful.

DOA3 on Xbox. Can't get find a game to look much better than that at 480p and 16x9.
