In our new home, I plan to run varying amounts of CAT5 to every room as well as locations like the porches. At some point soon after we move in, the great room will get a fairly decent projection setup and I intend to build it with support for HDTV.

I'm wondering, if my incoming satellite signal is HDTV can I still distribute that signal around the house to regular TV's in other rooms?

I've done a lot of searching and reading, but I haven't found any clear answers.

You could always do it with the S-Video/composite out. The boxes that I've seen output S-Video/composite simultaneously with the HD signal.

Interesting, I wasn't aware that was the case. Thanks, I think that answers my question. Or at least, it gives me something to go nag my satellite provider about. [IMG]
