Just received and hooked up my DST-3000 today. One thing I have noticed early on is an occasional audio drop-out (less than 1 sec. long) and minor (like one or two blocks on the screen) video breakups. For 2 stations, I have signal strengths of 100 and 100 with an antenna pre-amp and 93 and 72 without the pre-amp. I'd like to know if this is a slight problem on my end with either my antenna (I have heard of having too strong of a signal) or the DST-3000, or if it's just the normal working-out-the-kinks at the DTV station? I haven't had the time to see if there are drop-outs without the pre-amp. Wondering if anyone else has had similar problems.

It very well could be the station, especially if they are fairly new on the digital channel..Even HBOHD which has been around almost 2 years now have a few occaisional drop outs...

I would re-test with out the pre-amp. If you do, let us know the results.
