HDTV purchase decision (1 Viewer)

Hi folks,

My wife and I plan to purchase big screen TV 65"-73". I have done some research and the recommendation is to get a HDTV with no HDTV top box built in like the sony XBR2 since it is not standardize yet. Some said wait until DVI comeout this fall. Should I wait until the fall?

I am also consider front projector since we will get much larger screen. Do I need a special darkroom for front projector? we are using family room and will mount front projector on coffee table and will use screen mount on tripod. Is front projectors is a much better value then buying a big screeen HDTV?

Check out the Big Screen shootout not current issue, one before that] by Home Theater. A mag not well reguarded by this forum. However a 'good' overview of many sets in your size range.
