4 years ago I have built a HTPC system. My Monitor was a LED Samsung TV with 100Hz. but windows was seeing it as a generic monitor and I was not able to reach more than 60 Hz. So I could never get the visual quality with PC that I get when I plug an external disk directly to my TV.
I asked this to Samsung but they didn't have any Win driver at that time.
Now I am building a new system with the same idea. Can anyone suggest me:
any HDTV with PC driver? or a software? or a universal driver that would bypass that limitation? or anything that I cant think of right now?
