just moved to a suburb of atlanta about 10 miles due-west of downtown. our elevation is relatively high, but I'm afraid that most of the stations that are right to the east of downtown will be "over the hill" from us.

what kind of HDTV signal can i expect to get? Any chance that an indoor antenna will do the trick? I'm getting an HDTV next week (with a set top box soon after) so i'm really curious. I just don't want to spend all this money only to find out i can't get any HDTV when i'm only 10 miles from downtown.

    thanks

My guess is that you should be able to get good reception. Atlanta's big stations broadcast with a lot of power. I can watch a clean analog stations from about 20 miles away with just a pair of rabbit ears. A larger antenae should certainly pull in a good signal.
