I would really like to know before spending a lot money on the new TV. Please!!! (little begging) any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the TV has DVI input, it'll probably just take any general DVI source. I know computers, but not TVs too well, but I don't know why there would be any difference. Now, you say "HDTV DVI From CPU" in your title, whereas your DVI output will be coming from your video card, such as a Radeon 8500-9700 or GeForce 4 4200-4600.

You shouldn't have a problem with the TV, I don't think, as long as you're sure of what capabilities your computer has.
