Has anybody put on the market a HDTV Desktop Converter that will receive a HDTV signal and output to a standard NTSC for an older analog TV?
The reason that I ask is I just got a new catalog from a major mail order company and they listed a Samsung 'HDTV Receiver' Samsung SIR-T151 which lists the following at the end of the discription...

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking. Every HD tuner I have ever seen has analog outputs (s-video and composite) for use with older TVs.

    error in cut and paste.

There are some, such as the Hughes E86, that will only either output via the component outputs or via the S-Video/composite ouputs for SD TV. You have to choose which one you want, though its no big deal to change from one to the other.

Some other STB (I have read) will ouput both at the same time.
