I wanted to ask since I'm looking into buying a 4K pc monitor:
is it worth it to buy an HDR one if I don't want the colors to look like real life but like a movie?

Explaining:
I see the main standpoint of HDR is that it makes the image as realistic as possible, but I don't think I like that.
So, am I good with a 43'' monitor without HDR?

It depends on the choices the DP, the colorist and the director make in the edit bay.
