I do not watch much NBA basketball, but I will definitely watch this game as prequel to the Super Bowl broadcast by Fox in EDTV.

My local NBC is also showing that game as well OTA on their digital station. They even got the dolby digital encoders so they can broadcast in 5.1. (Technically, it's for the Olympics).

I am having about 30 people over for the Superbowl, and I can't wait to show off a HD basketball game. Too bad it's not the Superbowl though.
