HDMI throught the wall? (1 Viewer)

I'm setting up my home theatre in a new construction house. I'll be running the surround sound and the HDMI behind the walls to hide the wires. I'm mounting the flat screen TV above the gas fireplace which is several feet away from the entertainment center. My question is how can I run a HDMI cable through the wall? Is there a connection similar to a coax wall outlet that can be used? Or is HDMI not an option for me? Thanks
