Hdmi display (1 Viewer)

I bought a used Panasonic DMP-BDT210 Blue ray. It will works fine connecting through Onkyo system. When connecting direct to TV it will not. Both TVs are from 2010, a Plasma LG and Panasonic. The LG is 3D. Nothing wrong with either TV connection or HDMI because laptop will work fine. I have various things like darkness setting, HDMI on. Ideas?

Must be the tv? It's a pretty old model.

The TV and Blu-ray were built about same time. The Laptop will connect with no problem.

Something doesn't add up here, but for the life of me I can't think of what might be causing it. Something in the difference between how you are connecting it in the two options.

Here is the manual for the BD player. I suspect your issue is due to the setting of the HDMI Out parameter. pages 8-9 show connection diagrams that may be helpful.
