Sorry all, such a basic question, I'm new & my 1st post.

I got a Sony Bravia 40 inch lcd & have Adelphia cable box with some hd programming (soon to be Time Warner).

I was shocked by what the cables cost - like Radio Shack $150! for one cable.

I don't need the "ultimate" cable just a good one.

What mfg do you recommend? Links are cool. Supporting vendors?

    TIA

    Hi Bob. Welcome to HTF!

    Short answer: BlueJeansCables

    http://www.bluejeanscable.com/store/dvi/index.htm

The owner is a member here and has lots of happy customers.

    The thing about cables is:

    - They are labor-intensive to build
    - The retail mark-up is a lot

Going to a custom site tends to be the best bang-for-the-buck.

    Enjoy your stay.
