HDCP 2.2 Defeated? (1 Viewer)

I route my internet signal thru a Netgear 8-port switch. Does that defeat the HDCP 2.2, or does it have no effect on it?

Your router has nothing to do with it. HDCP 2.2 controls the signal from source to display, not from internet to source.
