I'm in an apartment complex in San Antonio that uses SBC/Direct TV in lieu of Time-Warner cable. All who subscribe get a small Sony DSS receiver per TV, plus local channels (on a splitter) originating from a community antenna. Can this local channel feed from the community antenna be connected to a HD Receiver for OTA reception? The local channel reception isn't spectacular (except the Spanish stations, of course [IMG] ) but one can get used to it, and I'm sure the signal strength would be adequate.

It's hit or miss. It may work for you, it may not, but you'll never know until you try. [IMG]

I also have a OTA question. My local stations are starting to broadcast quite a few HD programs. I want to get a set top rcvr but how do I know I can receive the signal? The normal OTA signal is ok. Additionally what HD box should I be looking at with DVI to mate with my 57HDX Toshiba?
    Thanks
