I've noticed a problem when I watch HD on my TW40x81:
When the camera pans quickly everything has a slight grainy look to it. I haven't seen another TW40 w/HD so I don't have much to compare it to.
Is this a problem with my set? With all TW40x81s running 1080i? Is this a problem with 1080i? (i.e. interlacing artifacts, or limitation of 7" guns)
I've heard of people talking about dot crawl, is this what they mean or is it something else?
Thanks for any info. It looks great with 1080i, but this problem does distract me once in a while. I'm using a Panasonic TU-DST50 in case that matters.

There is nothing wrong with your set. This phenomenon has been reported by many people.
My theory is that the electronics simply cannot keep up with the refresh required when an HD camera is moving quickly.

Did you mean the electronics of the TW40x81 can't keep up, or are you talking about ALL HDTVs?
