HD on Cox Cable in SD? (1 Viewer)

I've been e-mailing Cox asking about HD channels over their digital cable service for a while now. No reples
I've seen other postings from other parts of the country from people who've discoved hidden test channels in the high hundreds channel range.
Anyone in the San Diego/Oceanside area heard anything that I haven't?

The next big thing Cox is going to be rolling out is VOD, which is from my understanding is just fancy pay per view.

I did some research about a year ago to see if Cox was planning on providing HiDef over cable. I found a FAQ on there web site that out right said they had no plans for HiDef. I can't find the FAQ any more though.

I have twc in San diego. Thier customer service says HD sevice will be coming soon.
