Hd Dvd (1 Viewer)

For some relaxing entertainment(and the request of my wife) I would like to get a DVD kind of like the following:

These DVD's will not show up HD, correct? A special HD DVD player is required?

Any other recommendations for a scenic DVD that with vivid scenery and utilizes the full potential of 7.1 surround?

Yes they are high definition, but they are made for computer only. They will play in high definition on a windows media viewer capable of high def. I'm not sure which program it is as I am a mac user and am not too familiar with pc programs. I don't have all the info but I hope this will steer you in the right direction.

In the technical specs:



Sounds like disc one has anamorphic WS and a pan & scan versions in SD.

IIRC they did something similar to this with one of the Terminator films recently.
